Energy Ambassador Training
February 7 @ 10:00 - 12:30
Are you a woman who needs advice on staying warm in the winter and reducing energy bill? If so, this is the session for you.
Our Energy Ambassador training provides free, practical advice on staying warm and reducing energy bills. We will help you build your skills and knowledge to help manage your own energy use, and be equipped to support the people you work with, family, neighbours or friends, bring their bills down and find the right help to stay warm at home.
The session will cover:
Energy use in the home – including common myths that could be costing you money and helpful tips on what to do instead.
Heating systems and bills – including how to read your meter and bills and understand exactly what you’re paying for.
Measures for improving your home – including an explanation of how different measures save energy and the various government schemes that can fund them.
Help for vulnerable households – including a guide to benefits and discounts to stay warm at home
This session will be delivered via Zoom by Green Rose CIC
