Wellbeing Walk – with Alex Dickson
April 14 @ 10:00 - May 26 @ 11:30
We have an incredible natural wonder on our doorstep. Morecambe Bay is the largest intertidal bay in the UK, the second largest bay in Britain, teaming with wildlife – over 240,000 birds visit over winter and hundreds of seals colonise here to give birth.
Morecambe also has a fascinating history. First as a fishing village 300 hundreds years ago, then as one of the UK’s most popular seaside resorts. As we walk you can discover the history of some of the incredible people that make Morecambe such a great community.
Come and join Alex for a 90 min (socially distanced) walk where we can take in the beautiful scenery of Morecambe Bay, discover some of the amazing history, connect with others and get some exercise and fresh air.
£5 commitment fee – as there are only 5 places available we want to be sure people are committed. Free for unwaged or those in financial difficulty: please contact Lisa@thegrowingclub.co.uk
