A short course for young women not in employment, and wanting to make a change.
This fun course helps you explore your skills and dreams

Are you a young woman aged 19 to 24?

Are you wondering what your future looks like post pandemic?

As part of our employment & enterprise skills training for young women, we are running a fully funded, 4 session course in a safe and supportive, all female environment

So why not join Jane, Izzy and Soaad, at The Growing Club for a 4-session course for young women seeking employment, further education, or wondering about setting up a small business

If you have been unable to get or keep, a job, or if you are in low paid work, and you don’t know where to go next, this programme offers you the training and support you need.

This 4- session course is for you if you are:

*In low paid work

*Living on benefits

*Have a long term health issue

*A lone parent

*A carer

*Leaving domestic violence

*Facing redundancy

And you are looking for decent work, further education, or self-employment

The course will look at:

*Your existing skills


*New opportunities

*Confidence building and communication skills

*Available support

*What next?

These sessions are run in small, supportive groups, for young women, run by women.

The course starts on Tuesday 18th January 2022

**PLEASE NOTE, we are constantly monitoring the Covid guidelines and the safety of participants and trainers takes priority at all time.

This course will run in Lancaster , 4 Tuesday mornings, 10am to 12.30pm on these dates:

January 18th and 25th

February 1st and 8th

Where? In Lancaster at The Growing Club – 6-0-5 Alston House, White Cross, Lancaster LA1 4XQ

*We can pay your bus fare and childcare if you need it
